Let me first express my gratitude for all Y's families for giving me an opportunity to serve our Region as the Regional Director for the year 2011-12. The support, love and affection receiving from my mentors, senior leaders. peers and all club members is very encouraging and this act as a force for me to work hard for this great organisation.
I have chosen my theme "Be a worthy citizen" from our pledge. Let God make us the worthy citizen of the nation. The theme of the International President Ym. Finn Pedersen is "To dare is to do". It tells us to face challanges and meet it, rather than idling away time thinking over it.
The two slogans of Area President Ym. Isaac Palathinkal are "Do it now" and "Onward with family". These exhorts us effective in action and involve families in all Y's men programs. The Regional project "Cancer Care" is selected in tune with the Area project. It gives us tremendous opportunity to extent our helping hands to those who are affected by the deadly disease Cancer.
I wish all of you a beautiful and meaningful Y's dom year.

Regional Sports Meet of Y’s year 2011-12 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 22 January 2012 at S.B . College Grounds, Changanassery with the following tentative programme.
Commencement of Registration: 9.00 am
Closing of Registration : 11.30 am
Inauguration : 10.00 am
Sports events and Rules are already published in the Regional Hand Book cum Directory.
Club registration fee is Rs.250/- and event registration fee is Rs.10/- per event.
All Y’s Men, Y’s Mennettes and Y’s Lings of SWIR can participate in the sports Meet.
List of participants in the entry form attached below (in Downloads) is to be sent by Clubs directly to Regional Director or Regional Secretary to reach on or before 18th January 2012 .
